Parking permits are not required in the resort parking lot for guests. Permits are required at the South Twin Lake camping/boating/picnic area and can be purchased from a kiosk in the parking lot.
We rent kayaks (single and double), fishing row boats, peddle pontoon boats, hydro-cycles, paddle boards, and peddle boats.
Give our Store a call and we can put you on a waiting list and if someone drops out for the dates you are looking for, we will give you a call and offer you the reservation
Yes, we sell both gasoline and as well as fire wood, ice beer and anything else your camping needs require in our General Store open daily during the operating season.
Twin Lakes Resort is situated on two lakes. South Twin Lake has only Rainbow Trout and is stocked multiple times per year by the USFS. The Wickiup Reservoir is well known for Kokanee, Broen Trout, Largemouth Bass, Brook Trout, Mountain White Fish and Rainbow Trout. It has some of the largest Kokanee and Brown Trout in the area.
Up to 2 dogs are allowed per cabin for a small pet fee.
Twin Lakes Resort has a store, marina (boat rentals), restaurant & bar, java hut, public bathrooms, public showers, 14 cabins for rent (on South Twin Lake) and 23 RV sites (on the Wickiup Reservoir) with full hook ups.
The restaurant opens in mid-April and closes in early September, the day after Labor Day. The rest of the resort is stay open until October.
Twin Lakes Resort is open to the public. South Twin Lakes is managed by the USFS and is open to everyone. Twin Lakes Resort resides on South Twin Lake and is a popular vacation and weekend stop for the surrounding communities.
