Experience the Serenity of Fishing
South Twin Lake is one of the area's most popular family fishing destinations. Both South Twin Lake and North Twin Lake are teeming with stocked Rainbow Trout. Anglers regularly fish from both the banks and from boats. While a variety of lures and bait are regularly used, the most common way to fish South Twin Lake is floating either Powerbait or worms off the bottom to keep your bait above the 24-36 inches of weeds lining the lake bottom. Remember, both South Twin Lake and North Twin Lake are non-motorized (no electric motors either).
Our RV Park sits on the banks of the Deschutes Channel about a mile upstream from Wickiup Reservoir. Most anglers will fish Wickiup in a motorized boats, fishing for Kokanee, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Bass. Fishing conditions, recommended bait, and general strategies vary greatly throughout the season, so check with the Twin Lakes Resort Store for the latest tips or to purchase bait and tackle.
For the latest fishing regulations, please visit the Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations website.
